We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. (But you know it is not a high dynamic range (HDR) picture anymore — your picture maybe has gone through some HDR processing, but that's it. It's like calling a GIF true-color.

Interesting! I'm new to this whole thing so this is good.
So what should I do instead? Is it just a matter of exporting as an .hdr? I'm using photomatix and I guess I just exported it as a .jpg because it's the first one I saw.
And I guess by converting it into a jpg, it loses a lot (or all) of its quality..
